Mission Man Visits Celebrity Staff

C&A Industries brought its mission statement to life late last year when we introduced Mission Man, C&A’s very own super hero. Mission Man is on a mission to recognize employees who go above and beyond at work incorporating C&A’s mission statement values into their daily endeavors.

Mission Man made his second visit to the Celebrity Staff KC office in less than a year! This time, he was honoring Brad L. and Grete R. for their excellent work with a vendor management company. Thanks to the efforts of Brad and Grete and the entire KC team, Celebrity ranked #2 of 18 vendors on a “vendor scorecard” with an impressive score of 92.66! Way to go, Celebrity KC!

Sixth Annual Celebrity Health Fair

Celebrity Staff’s wellness committee, AurHealth, hosted the 6th Annual Health Fair last week. With more than 47 health and wellness vendors and nearly 300 attendees throughout C&A, the 2010 Health Fair was C&A’s biggest and most successful. Check out our photo slideshow!

NAMI Breakfast Fundraiser

C&A Industries, parent company of Celebrity Staff, hosted a biscuits and gravy breakfast fundraiser benefiting the 2010 NAMI Walk. Good News for Employment

According to a recent Careerbuilder.com survey, more than half (58 percent) of those laid off in the last twelve months have found new jobs. Fifty-one percent have found full-time positions (up from 48 percent in June 2009) and 7 percent have found part-time positions (up from 3 percent in June 2009).

C&A Industries, Inc., parent company to Celebrity Staff and other leading staffing and recruiting firms, has been named among the top employers in Omaha by Omaha Magazine for the second consecutive year.

The announcement is featured in the magazine’s January/February 2010 “Best of Omaha” issue.
